Rio Grande Valley Music Festival

The Rio Grande Valley Music Festival will be held February 18 - 22, 2009 at the RGV Livestock Showsgrounds in Mercedes Texas. This unique 4 day music festival features musicians from all over the country performing Country, Bluegrass, Folk, Western and Progressive music as well as Mariachi & Folkloric performances. Arts and crafts are also on display at this event.  With 2 large stages and several large tents, the music and the fun never stop. Proceeds from this show go to supporting music education for local students. Gates open at 8am with performances starting at 9am. Daily admission is $5 per person and individuals are encouraged to bring their instruments and lawn chair. RV Camping on site is available.
