The inaugural Rio Grande Valley International Poetry Festival will be hosting an anthology release reception on Thursday, Apr. 24th from 7 to 9 p.m. at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce at 1200 Ash Street in McAllen. The public is invited to meet featured poet Amalia Ortiz, star of HBO's "Def Poetry Jam," and to listen to readings from the anthology.
