The 1960s building (Old McAllen Library) located at Main street and Fir Avenue has been renovated by the McAllen Chamber of Commerce and City of McAllen’s Arts + Public Life initiative envisioned by local artists, the Arts Incubator is a space for art studios, arts education, community-based arts projects, as well as exhibitions, performances, and talks.

Are you interested in renting a Studio Space at the McAllen Creative Incubator? 

We are glad that you are interested in renting a space at the McAllen Creative Incubator. The McAllen Creative Incubator is a venue that offers low cost studios for start-up artists.  The Incubator is meant to foster the creativity of its tenants and provide emerging artists with support.  The goal of the McAllen Creative Incubator is to support the continued professional growth of artists in order to enhance the cultural and economic vitality of our local community.  Studio rents depend on the studio size.

Prospective tenants, who are on our waiting list are considered first. There is no set time, when a studio will be available, but once we have your applications if it needs to be updated we will contact you.

To get on our waiting list you must:
